Help in the global struggle against counterbasses

In response to my previous kvetching about counterbasses, Tiina thoughtfully provides this aid:

Read the note as though it were written in the treble clef and it will tell you what key the counterbass is associated with.

For example:

The counterbass in both bars is B. If it were notated in the treble clef instead of the bass, it would be G. And that's where the counterbass is located -- above G.

Clever, no?

Thanks, Tiina!
